The government announced on Tuesday that they will not postpone the four holidays taking place in May.
Recommendations made by the Center for Covid-19 Situation Administration (CCSA) on postponing Labor Day (May 1), Coronation Day (May 5), Visakha Bucha Day (May 6), and the Royal Ploughing Ceremony (May 11) will not be followed said Prime Minister Prayut Chan-ocha on Tuesday.
The recommendations were made to stop people from congregating and risking a second wave of coronavirus infections.
Prime Minister Prayut Chan-ocha said the holidays would go ahead as scheduled.
