Thailand’s government said on Saturday that it had discovered six new coronavirus infections bringing the total number of infected to 2,966.
There were no new fatalities with the death toll still at 54.
13 more patients have recovered from the virus bringing the total number of discharged patients to 2,732.
“This is good news. We must be at our most vigilant during this time when we’re easing lockdown measures,” said government spokesperson Dr Thaweesin Visanuyothin.
