The European Union said this week that it will allow citizens from 14 ‘safe’ countries to enter its borders including Japan, South Korea and Thailand.
However, the US, the UK and Brazil are still exempt from travel to the country.
Thai Enquirer understands that the Thai government is currently negotiating travel bubbles with additional countries within Asia including China, Singapore, South Korea, Japan and Oceania countries like Australia and New Zealand.
Thailand’s Civil Aviation Authority said late Monday that foreign flights may begin entering the country provided that they were transporting people approved by the government for entry into the kingdom.
