Former imperial and great power, the United Kingdom, released a list this past weekend of countries required to self-quarantine upon arrival to the UK.
Among those countries present in the list of ‘safe-nations’ who do not have to quarantine upon arrival in the UK are Spain (297,625 cases and 28,385 deaths), Italy (241,611 cases and 34,861 deaths), Germany (197,558 cases and 9,086 deaths) and France (166,960 cases and 29,893 deaths).
Thailand with 3,190 cases and 58 deaths was left off the list and arrivals from Thailand must self-quarantine upon arrival to the former great power.
Britain’s former colony of the United States was, understandably, left off that list as well. Infighting, political quarrels and disregard for health experts means that the US once again leads the world in several categories (2,982,928 cases and 132,569 deaths).
