Pheu Thai party pulled out of curbing the powers of the senators on Tuesday [read more here].
As a result, Thai netizens have expressed dissatisfaction over the decision made by the party, resulting in the trending hashtag on Twitter: #กูสั่งให้มึงปิดสวิตสว or “I order you to turn off the senator’s switch”, as of Thursday morning.
On Anon Nampa’s twitter account, he is saying that “maybe we need to shout louder.”
“The students and the people are shouting at their limits so please listen to them.”
“In the Pheu Thai’s equation, are the people in it? How many times have you been fighting like this? And how many of your parties have been dissolved? Even if you won the election and could not become the government, how much more do you want? You will no longer get votes from my household.”
“Let’s stop banning [pro military] actors for a bit and let’s start chasing those that we voted for to do their job.”
