The Thai government said on Wednesday that it had discovered one new coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours.
That brings the total number of cases discovered in the country to a total of 3,034 cases.
There were no new fatalities with the death toll still at 56.
31 people have recovered in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of discharged patients to 2,888.
90 people remain in hospital.
The new case is a 45 year old male Thai chef who returned from Bahrain on May 15, government spokesman Dr Thaweesin Visanuyothin said. The new patient had been under state quarantine when he was tested positive for the virus.
