South Korean girl group Blackpink is set to come back with a pre-release single ahead of their first album since 2019.
On Thursday, Blackpink unveiled a set of teasers in preparation for their comeback on June 26.
The pre-release title track will be the first of a three-step comeback plan. The second will be another digital release scheduled for July or August, and the third will culminate in the group’s first studio album since their debut.
The girl group debuted in 2016 with four members: Jennie, Jisoo, Rosé and Lisa, and is one of the pioneers of K-Pop’s third generation or ‘third wave.’
Lisa is the only Thai idol to have ever debuted under YG Entertainment.
With over 33.9 million followers on Instagram and 3.12 million followers on YouTube, Lalisa “Lisa” Manoban may be the most popular and recognizable Thai person on the planet.
She even inspired an internet meme taken up by Hollywood royalty.
