The hashtag #กองทัพอากาศอย่าเนียน (#stopbeingsubtleairforce) trended on Twitter on Tuesday as netizens expressed their disapproval of the Thai Air Force and its role in the Rayong coronavirus scandal.
It is believed that the Royal Thai Air Force is the department responsible for allowing and screening international flights and the primary defense organization responsible for letting in an Egyptian defense delegation that had tested positive for the virus.
The hashtag was also used to touch on general government in competence by net users.
“Is the governor of Rayong really the one responsible in allowing Egyptian soldiers to come in?” one Twitter user wrote. “Fix the problem where it really is.”
