Aging and largely irrelevant pop star Joe Nuvo has made headlines in the past for his outspoken support for totalitarian rule and anti-red shirt viewpoints.
He’s in the headlines again after telling a member of his fan club to ‘just die’.
The Incident
The incident started when a Joe Nuvo fan posted on the artist’s page that the coronavirus outbreak was causing her to have depression.
“I am going crazy Joe, I can’t work, can’t sell goods. The grassroots are all going to die. These policies are unfair…if the government cannot get to us all, we’re all going to kill ourselves,” said the post.
To which Joe Nuvo replied:
“If you can die, just die. It is about helping yourself now, the environment will wean you out. It is the theory of Charles Darwin.”
The Reaction
